The University of Queensland’s School of Earth and Environmental Sciences is proud to host the second Dorothy Hill Women in Earth Sciences Symposium from Thursday 14 to Friday 15 November 2019. It will be a powerful two days of learning, networking, absorbing lessons learned from the top women in Earth Sciences.
This Symposium will join together leading women in the Earth Sciences in both academia and industry with early career researchers and students looking to study Earth Sciences.

WOMEESA Workshop at AGCC 2018
WOMEESA will be holding a pre-meeting workshop and networking event at AGCC 2018
The workshop will focus on the key concepts of an effective mentoring relationship and will provide attendees with networking opportunities. It will also cover issues particularly relevant to women working in Earth and Environmental Sciences, through speaker presentations and focused discussions. All genders are welcome to attend.
We will continue networking straight after the workshop at the AGCC Welcome Drinks.

The inaugural Australian Geoscience Council Convention, AGCC 2018, will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre in Adelaide, Australia, Sunday 14 to Thursday 18 October, 2018.
AGCC 2018 will focus on the Asia Pacific region and is supported by all eight Member Organisations of the Australian Geoscience Council.

WOMEESA are excited to announce our first NSW Networking event: Navigating Careers in Earth and Environmental Sciences
Please come and join us at 12 Wally’s Walk (aka E7A), Macquarie University, Sydney, on Tuesday 24th of July from 5:30 – 8:30pm.

The evening will consist of an invited speaker, panel discussions and networking activities. Nibbles and drinks will also be provided. All genders and career stages welcome (high school students to professors). Further program details to follow shortly.
